We are seeking an experienced Controls Design Engineer to join our Mission Critical Team, which specializes in the design and deployment of industrial control systems in the rapidly expanding data center market.
You will:
  • Serve as a team member supporting the execution of project work from design through implementation.
  • Develop/modify design documentation - drawing packages, method of procedures, sequence of operations, testing scripts.
  • Perform quality checks and bench testing of PLC and HMI programs.
  • Provide onsite and remote support commissioning system design changes.
  • Be an ambassador who embodies our Core Values, prioritizing the success of E Tech Group, our clients, and the professional development of our associates.

You have:
  • Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience with industrial control system applications.
  • 3+ years of experience working with industrial HVAC / BMS / EPMS applications for data center environments.
  • PLC experience - Have successfully completely multiple projects with Allen-Bradley / Rockwell Control Logix PLCs. Capable of training/mentoring others and performing technical reviews of work done by others.
  • SCADA experience - Have successfully completely multiple projects with Inductive Automation Ignition - Perspective. Capable of training/mentoring others and performing technical reviews of work done by others.
  • Experience commissioning in "live" environments.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 30%
  • A DNA comprised of collaboration and teamwork.

You may have:
  • Certification with Inductive Automation Ignition products.
  • Familiarity with Schneider Control Expert (PLC) / EPO (SCADA), AVEVA / Wonderware System Platform, and other PLC / SCADA platforms.
  • Instrumentation calibration / startup experience.
  • Experience leading small groups or project teams.
