Muth Power Solutions is an Automation and Controls division of Muth Electric, dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and superior service to our clients nationwide. With a focus on excellence and a commitment to continuous improvement, we are seeking a talented Control Systems Integrator to join our dynamic team and drive the development and implementation of advanced control systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, program, test and commission of automation instrumentation and control systems using standards developed by Industrial Society of Automation (ISA)
  • Prepare technical documents and design specifications for control systems and installations
  • Write reports, user and maintenance manuals, procedures and qualification protocols
  • Work in collaboration with Electrical Designers and Mechanical Engineers for all projects
  • Work within the defined schedule estimates.
  • Involvement in controls projects, programming, motion, communication systems, electrical design, vision systems, and robotic integration
  • Manage project duties, specifying, ordering (if required), creating and maintaining punch lists, attending review meetings and undertaking and / or giving training courses.
  • Represent the organization in a professional and mature matter
  • Required to lead on projects for the automation scope and responsible to handle interactions with other engineering departments (Multi Discipline, Electrical Design, Instrumentation Design and Industrial Information Technology) on the project to ensure programming and automation design are seamlessly integrated
  • The design and development of database and interface applications that integrate our clients' control systems with our customer's production and data management systems.
  • Working with project management colleagues to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget and to the highest levels of safety and quality.
  • Travel to commission and support systems at customer facilities

Position Requirements
Qualifications:
  • Excellent computer skills.

  • Experience and understanding of programming and combination of various automation technologies (robots, vision systems, PLCs, HMIs, etc.) into highly integrated systems.
  • Knowledge in PLCs (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Schneider Electric)
  • HMI's (Rockwell, Inductive Automation - Ignition)
  • Vision Systems (Cognex, Keyence, Omron)
  • Familiar with Industrial Society of Automation (ISA) standards
  • Familiar with National Electrical Code (NFPA 70)

Education & Experience:
  • (+3yrs) of relevant industry experience
  • Preferred - ISA's Certified Automation Professional (CAP)
  • Preferred - SCADA certification such as Ignition Gold Certified
