Pay Range: $112,000-$122,000
YOUR ROLE
Provide strategic and operational Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) leadership across a geographically dispersed region supporting 20+ operational locations. Acting as a technical subject-matter expert, the role ensures regulatory compliance, adherence to CEVA's HSE global standards, and continuous improvement of safety and environmental performance. The position partners closely with site leadership, operations, and functional teams to reduce risk, strengthen safety culture, and drive standardization across the region.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?
Leadership & Governance
  • Provide oversight of HSE programs, ensuring consistent implementation of corporate standards, policies, and procedures across all assigned locations.
  • Act as the escalation point and technical authority for complex HSE issues, regulatory interpretations, and high-risk activities.
  • Support site leadership teams with HSE performance reviews, risk prioritization, and resource planning.

Health & Safety Management
  • Lead regional roll-out and maintenance of HSE management systems aligned with CEVA's global frameworks and ISO 45001 standards.
  • Oversee and validate site-level risk assessments, job hazard analyses (JHAs), and control measures to ensure adequacy and consistency.
  • Provide guidance and quality review for serious incidents, injury, and near-miss investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPAs).
  • Analyze regional HSE performance data, identify trends, and define targeted improvement initiatives.

Environmental Compliance
  • Oversee regional environmental compliance programs, including waste management, spill prevention, permitting, and sustainability initiatives.
  • Ensure sites maintain required environmental permits, records, and regulatory reporting obligations

Audits, Compliance & Continuous Improvement
  • Plan and conduct regional HSE audits, inspections, and gap assessments; track and verify closure of corrective actions across sites through HSE software platform.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable local, state/provincial, federal, and industry HSE regulations across all locations.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices, advising leadership on impacts and required actions.

Training, Coaching & Culture
  • Support development and deployment of regional HSE training strategies, including leadership safety engagement and frontline awareness programs.
  • Coach site HSE professionals / designated point of contact and operational leaders, promoting ownership, accountability, and a proactive safety culture.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in occupational health & safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience 8+ years of progressive HSE experience, including multi-site or regional scope within industrial, logistics, manufacturing, or warehousing environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations and workers comp management. Strong experience with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.

Preferred:
  • Professional certification such as CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent.
  • Logistics Operational Management experience
  • Experience supporting unionized, high-headcount, or temporary-labor environments.

Knowledge & Skills
  • Comprehensive working knowledge of ISO45001and ISO 14001 management processes, principles and methodologies Good level of office applications skills
  • Expertise in OSHA recordkeeping and workers comp claim management
  • Intermediate / advanced exel Intermediate / advanced experience with QHSE software platforms (i.e. Intelex, Gensuite, etc.)
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and collaborate effectively Experience of holding challenging conversations and achieving the desired output
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills with a coaching style Excellent time management skills
