HSE roles exist across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, oil and gas, and healthcare. The goal is to create a safe work environment while ensuring compliance with local and international safety standards.

What does an HSE do?

HSE professionals usually start their days by reviewing safety reports, inspecting work sites, and ensuring that all activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations. They may conduct risk assessments, lead safety training sessions, investigate incidents, and maintain accurate documentation of findings. Collaboration with operations teams, management, and external regulatory bodies is also a common aspect of the role.
