Job description

At Wizards of the Coast, we harness the power of imagination and connection to create unforgettable experiences. We create entertainment that inspires creativity, sparks passion, forges friendships, and fosters communities around the globe. In every pursuit our mission is to inspire a lifetime love of games. Whether it's through the strategic depth of Magic: The Gathering, the rich storytelling of Dungeons & Dragons, or our AAA digital game studios, we build worlds that bring people together, spark creativity, and fuel adventure. As we continue to grow and explore new realms, we're seeking passionate, curious, and innovative minds to join the adventure.

We're looking for a meticulous and data-driven Associate Lifecycle Marketing Manager to join our Marketing team on a contract basis. In this role, you will help build and implement lifecycle marketing programs that deepen player engagement, drive retention, and support key product moments across email and in-app messaging channels.

What You'll Do:
  • Build, QA, and deploy email and app messaging campaigns from brief through execution, ensuring accuracy, on-time delivery, and brand consistency.
  • Support the development and maintenance of automated lifecycle workflows, including onboarding, re-engagement, and retention journeys.
  • Segment audiences and implement personalized messaging tactics using player behavior and product data to drive engagement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners in Product Marketing, Creative, and Business Intelligence to align campaign execution with broader marketing goals.
  • Monitor campaign performance metrics including open rates, click rates, conversion, and retention, and surface insights and recommendations to the team.
  • Run hypothesis-based A/B tests on subject lines, content, timing, and segmentation, and contribute to weekly performance reporting.
  • Help maintain list health, suppression logic, and compliance standards across messaging channels.
What You'll Bring:
  • Hands-on experience building and launching email and/or in-app messaging campaigns, ideally within a marketing automation or CRM platform (e.g. Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or similar).
  • Strong attention to detail - you catch errors before they go out the door.
  • Comfort working with data to inform decisions, including basic segmentation, performance analysis, and reporting.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills; able to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • A genuine interest in games or the games industry is a plus.
  • 2-5 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or a related marketing role.
Nice to have:
  • Experience with mobile app messaging (push notifications, in-app messages).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS for email template editing.
  • Experience working on global consumer brands.
  • 4-year college degree or equivalent experience.
