How You'll Make a Difference
You will be developing exam content for PMI's professional certification products-by writing on your own and by leading a team of volunteer subject matter experts (SMEs)-according to defined standards, requirements, methodologies, and processes.
This role reports to the Manager, Exam Content Development and also has responsibilities in content localization. You will work collaboratively with the other GCCPs and the wider team to produce quality content toward the department's quarterly targets.
Working within a dedicated region, you will also collaborate with the volunteer program manager to identify and continuously recruit great SMEs to develop and help localize exam content. Work is performed both virtually and in person, using the latest technology and your expert writing and content skills.
What You'll Bring to the Role
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred
  • PMI certification holder-PMP at minimum; more than 5 years leading projects of all kinds
  • Institute of Credentialing Excellence's Credentialing Specialist Certificate preferred
  • Demonstrated experience as both a writer (e.g., training, academic, business writing) and user of generative AI
  • Experience in executing content development or fulfillment projects Demonstrated fluency and proficiency in English
  • Fluency and proficiency in another required language is highly desired* (Spanish, Chinese, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, French, Portuguese, Italian, German)

*Regional-based & native language fluency required for:
a) Japanese/Chinese (located in APAC)
b) Arabic (located in the Middle East or Europe)
c) Spanish (located in Latin America)
  • Ability to prioritize independent writing tasks while performing cross-functional work and leading a project team
  • Ability to process and deliver feedback to peers in a constructive manner
  • Demonstrated leadership as a project manager for more than 5 years
  • Confident facilitator of conversations on project management topics with other subject matter experts with the ability to drive consensus
  • Excellent interpersonal skills in virtual and in-person teams
  • Knowledge of and experience with business practices in your region
