  • Teaching, training, and supervising pediatric, psychology, and psychiatry students, residents, and fellows, with opportunities for peer consultation and interdisciplinary collaboration.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a psychologist who brings strong clinical training, collaborative values, and a genuine interest in working within an academic medical center.
Qualifications include:
  • PhD or PsyD in Clinical Child Psychology, or a PhD or PsyD with substantial child-focused training and clinical experience treating eating disorders.
  • Completion of doctoral training and clinical internship from APA-accredited programs.
  • Licensed or license-eligible in the state of Rhode Island.
  • Experience with, or strong interest in, working in an academic, team-based medical setting.
  • Interest in eating disorder program development and interdisciplinary collaboration.
  • Personal qualities such as compassion, flexibility, a sense of humor, collaborative problem-solving skills, and a "roll-up-your-sleeves" approach to patient care and teamwork.
Why Join Us?
  • Work within the largest pediatric outpatient eating disorder program in Rhode Island, serving a culturally and economically diverse patient population.
  • Be part of a dynamic leadership team that actively values work-life balance.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues across behavioral health, adolescent medicine, and child psychiatry.
  • Practice in an academic environment with opportunities for teaching, supervision, and faculty appointment.
What We Offer
  • Competitive base salary with RVU structure and additional income potential.
  • Comprehensive benefits package, including:
    • $2,000 annual professional allowance (licensure, continuing education).
    • Five days of dedicated professional development time.
    • Four weeks of vacation and five sick days.
    • 401(k) with 6% employer match (after one year of employment; three-year vesting).
