EVENT PLANNER - PREMIER WEDDING VENUE
9 Aviles Wedding Venue - Saint Augustine, FL
Full-time | $20/hour + Performance Bonuses up to $4,000+/month

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Join the team at 9 Aviles, Saint Augustine's premier wedding venue with a perfect 5-star Google rating maintained for three consecutive years. We're seeking an exceptional Event Planner to coordinate memorable wedding experiences in one of Florida's most romantic historic settings.
UNIQUE COMPENSATION STRUCTURE - EARN $32.50-$45+/HOUR EFFECTIVE RATE
• Base Pay: $20.00/hour for all hours worked
• Performance Bonus: $1,000 per wedding event (when venue receives 5-star review)
• Monthly Earning Potential: $5,200-$7,200+ with 2-4 events
• Significantly exceeds Florida's average event planner rate of $22.75/hour
Example: Coordinate just 2 weddings/month = $32.50/hour effective rate
Coordinate 4 weddings/month = $45.00/hour effective rate
IDEAL SCHEDULE FOR WORK-LIFE BALANCE
• Thursday/Friday: Rehearsals and preparations
• Friday-Sunday: Wedding events
• Monday-Wednesday: Typically OFF (venue handles sales/tours)

WHAT YOU'LL DO
As our Event Planner, you'll take the reins AFTER bookings are confirmed (ownership handles all sales, tours, and initial consultations). Your focus:
✓ Serve as primary contact for couples post-booking

✓ Conduct walkthroughs and final planning meetings
✓ Oversee rehearsals and execute flawless day-of coordination
✓ Manage setup through breakdown for each event
✓ Ensure exceptional experiences that maintain our 5-star standard
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required:
• Previous event planning, coordination, or hospitality experience
• Exceptional organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities
• Availability for weekend work (Fri-Sun) and occasional Thursday rehearsals
• Calm under pressure with meticulous attention to detail
• Passion for creating unforgettable wedding experiences
Preferred:
• Experience coordinating weddings or special events
• Vendor relationship management
