We are currently recruiting for a temporary Material Planner I.
What you will do in this position:
  • General Support
    • Coordinates the material plan for new products and manages the material activity to support these programs.
    • Represents Materials to ensure acquisition and planning activities support company objectives and development schedules.
  • Master Production Schedule
    • Plans, prepares, and issues Purchasing Planned Orders Reports.
    • Manages the material ordering policies for each part number.
    • Coordinates any changes and ordering exceptions as required.
  • Material Plan Development
    • Updates the Avante Production Plan.
    • Reviews daily/weekly sales bookings to identify potential problem areas.
    • Coordinates corrective measures to balance requirements to inventory plan.

What you will need to succeed:
  • Qualifications
    • Computer literate, knowledge of ERP system.
    • Fundamentals of MPS/MRP.
    • Spreadsheet programs.
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of material planning experience
  • Education
    • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field (4 years college) - Preferred

The posted pay range, $24.62 - $32.79 per hour, is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision, and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
