Pay Range: $19-24/hr




Position Summary: The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to all departments of Sun-Rype Concentrates, Inc.


Responsibilities:

  1. Role in Safe Quality Food (SQF)
  • Receiving of Raw Materials, Packaging Materials, Supplies and Chemicals meet SQF guidelines and the SRC program guidelines.
  • Notify all vendors, contractors and visitors of GMP requirements to read and sign documents that they will follow procedure.
  • Create a culture that focuses on producing Safe, Quality Food


  1. Telephone System
  • Answer multiple phone lines.
  • Direct calls to appropriate people.
  • Take messages when necessary.


  1. Raw Fruit Receiving
  • Enter raw fruit into database.


  1. Raw Fruit Accounting & Payment Preparation
  • Receive invoices from supplier and freight companies, approve for accuracy and ensure back-up documentation is attached.


  1. Assist Manufacturing Manager
  • Assist in documentation preparation.
  • Coordinate workflow, use, communication and equipment and facility maintenance of office.
  • Provide Raw fruit delivery data as well as temporary labor time sheets

  • Support HR Manager with Safety & Holiday Plant wide functions. Work with HR


  1. Office Duties
  • Collect, receive and distribute mail, office faxes and deliveries.
  • Maintain office supply inventory as needed.
  • Coordinate maintenance and repair of all office equipment and outside service providers.


  1. Safety
  • Prepare safety tailgates for weekly tailgate meetings for all three shifts.
  • File documents as appropriate.
  • Type safety meeting minutes and post in designated areas.


  1. Backup
  • The Administrative Assistant will be backed up by the Shipping Coordinator and will provide back-up to Shipping Coordinator in times of absence.


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

The following requirements are those that are normally required for performance of the Shift Supervisor position.   1. Physical Requirements:

This position normally requires the physical demands of standing, walking, bending, lifting or performing other work requiring medium physical exertion, talking and hearing and adequate vision on a regular basis to perform the job requirements. These physical demands are required up to 90% of the time.

  • Education:

Bachelor’s degree preferred. High school diploma required.


  • Experience:

Three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment required.
