Job description

Job Title :: Flight Coordinator

Location :: Atlanta, GA

Contract :: 3 Months

Flight Coordinator

The Aerial Services Flight Coordinator is an integral part of the Aerial Services team that serves as the primary point of contact with the C-suite to arrange and manage logistics in regard to flight requests.

This position reports directly to the Customer Service Supervisor

Position Location

· Hybrid Office Reporting at Dekalb-Peachtree Airport (PDK) in Atlanta, Georgia. Will be in the office a minimum of 3 days per week.

· Must currently reside, or being willing to relocate, within 60 miles or 90 minutes of PDK

**(Relocation Assistance is Available)

· Must be flexible with dynamic schedules, including early mornings, late nights, holidays, weekend and overnight support.

· Be willing to accept temporary assignments at other company domiciles, on occasion.

Formal Education

· College Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, desired with Aviation Management, Finance,

Accounting, or other appropriate experience within aviation operations. (preferred)

· Holds a high school diploma or equivalent (required).

Preferred Qualifications

· Licensed FAA Dispatcher Certificate (Highly Desired)

· NBAA Certified Aviation Manager (CAM) Certificate (a plus)

· At least 5 years of experience in FAR Part 91, or subpart K, aircraft scheduling experience.

· Familiarity with part 135 is a plus

· Knowledge of business scheduling software

· Familiarity with all aspects of Business Aviation.

· Great oral and written technical skills with the ability to organize, create, and maintain organizational documentation and manuals.

· Strong organizational, administrative, time management, and project management skills.

· Working knowledge of FAA regulations, airfield operations and air traffic management.

Job Responsibilities

· Perform Dispatcher/Office Manager responsibilities and duties, including dispatch of aircraft as defined in the General Operations Manual (GOM).

· Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision.

· Must be a cooperative team player who exhibits high levels of interpersonal skill and emotional intelligence.

· Applicants must possess strong analytical reasoning and critical thinking skills. The successful applicant will have demonstrated the ability to solve complex problems in in rapidly evolving, dynamic environments.

· Must have excellent communications skills.

· Must be able to interact appropriately with executive level customers.

· Participate in, and actively support, the Safety Management System (SMS) and ISBAO Standards.

· Personally, and professionally, model all aspects of company culture – Safety First, Unquestionable Trust, Superior Performance, and Total Commitment.

· Perform additional administrative duties as assigned by Director, Aerial Services or Customer Support Supervisor.

· Reconcile aircraft and facility expenses.

· Manage and assist with coordination of facility activities and meeting needs.

· Pro-active flight following.

· Complete FRAT for all trips.
