About the Role:
We’re looking for dependable Temporary Research Workers to support a field research program. This is a hands-on seasonal position with duties that may vary throughout the year. Hours may vary, and some workdays may be longer than 8 hours.
What You’ll Do:
  • Receive and sort incoming seed
  • Count and organize seed for planting and shipping
  • Hand harvest crops
  • Shell and thresh crops
  • Condition seed
  • Apply seed treatments (Applicator license required)
  • Perform general housekeeping
  • Follow all safety procedures and training

Physical & Work Requirements:
  • Lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Stand or sit for at least 4 hours
  • Walk on uneven ground
  • Work in dusty environments around plant material
  • Work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Speak, read, and understand English and numbers
  • Work well independently and as part of a team
  • Be detail-oriented, dependable, and safety-minded
