Description
PRESCHOOL TEACHER
$20.00/hour
Monday - Friday mornings 10 - 25 hours per week

The Preschool Teacher is a part-time position in the Recreation Division. Under the guidance of the Lead Preschool Teachers, the Preschool Teacher assists in the planning and implementation of the daily curriculum activities for the children (ages 3 - 5 years). Other tasks include following the daily schedule, assisting with setting up and cleaning the site, and using positive discipline techniques. This position will also occasionally require staffing at Town Events; such as, holiday event, summer open house BBQ, birthday party events, and summer preschool camp.
A high school diploma and coursework in Early Childhood Education is required; twelve units of Early Childhood Education are desired along with one plus years of experience working with young children. Spanish speaking is desirable, but not necessary.
