Job description

Position Overview:
The E-Commerce Coordinator is responsible for supporting and managing the company’s online sales platforms to ensure accurate product listings, competitive pricing, and a seamless customer experience. This role combines digital merchandising, market research, and hands-on customer interaction to identify product trends and optimize the company’s online offerings. The position works closely with purchasing, sales, and operations teams to ensure products are properly represented, competitively priced, and readily available to customers.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Management

  • Manage and maintain product listings across the company’s e-commerce platforms.
  • Upload new products including descriptions, specifications, images, and pricing.
  • Monitor and update stock levels to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure product information is complete, accurate, and optimized for online search.
Pricing & Market Analysis

  • Research and compare pricing against competitors to maintain competitive positioning.
  • Monitor market trends and report findings to management.
  • Recommend pricing adjustments and product additions based on market data.
Customer & Product Insight

  • Work and train periodically at the customer service counter to gain firsthand knowledge of customer needs and purchasing behaviors.
  • Identify trending products and frequently requested items from customer interactions.
  • Provide feedback to purchasing and management regarding product demand and market trends.
Data & Performance Monitoring

  • Track product performance and sales trends within the e-commerce platform.
  • Identify opportunities to improve product visibility, descriptions, and sales performance.
  • Assist with promotions, featured products, and seasonal merchandising.
Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Coordinate with purchasing to ensure new and trending products are available online.
  • Work with warehouse and operations teams to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Assist marketing with online promotions, product launches, and campaigns.
General Duties

  • Maintain organization and accuracy within the e-commerce catalog.
  • Assist with product data management and system updates.

Qualifications
