Hours:
  • Full-Time
  • Day Shift
  • Monday - Friday; occasional weekends; based on department needs
  • Area: Imaging Diagnostic
  • Location: Melrose Park, IL

About the Role
As the Manager, Diagnostic Imaging, you will provide strategic and operational leadership for a comprehensive imaging department spanning multiple modalities. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, driving process improvement initiatives, ensuring exceptional quality and patient care, and managing departmental financial and human resources.
The Manager partners with physicians, technologists, and hospital leadership to enhance operational performance, optimize workflows, and support a culture of safety, service excellence, and continuous improvement. Success in this role requires a proactive leader who can balance day-to-day operational demands while advancing departmental goals, improving patient experiences, and achieving key quality, regulatory, and financial objectives.
This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by leading a high-performing imaging team that plays a critical role in patient diagnosis, treatment, and outcomes.
Here's what you'll need
Minimum Required:
  • Bachelor's degree - or equivalent training acquired via work experience
  • 3-5 years of previous job-related experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • May require on-call, weekend, holiday and emergency coverage as department needs warrant.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, prioritization, and decision-making skills
  • Requires travelling to offsite locations as needed

  • Oversee clinical student technologist rotating through the department

Additional Qualifications (nice to have)
  • 6-10 years management experience
  • Master's Degree
  • UKG scheduling or equivalent
  • EPIC, PAC experience or equivalent
  • Excel Proficient (intermediate)

Annual Salary Range: $96,782.40 - $159,700
Actual compensation will fall within the range but may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, education, location, licensure, certification requirements, and comparisons to colleagues in similar roles.
