What You'll Do:

This position is a 12-month temporary employment opportunity with a possibility of extension.

  • Process domestic orders and scale all inbound and outbound loads
  • Prepare documentation for outgoing shipments
  • Accurately and timely complete all order and shipment documentation
  • Proactively communicate with facility personnel and drivers regarding delivery schedules and order statuses
  • Respond to inquiries from customers, facility personnel, drivers, and management
  • Partner with production personnel to coordinate production and shipments
  • Review invoices from freight vendors
  • Adhere to all Quality Standard Operating Procedures and processes
  • Conduct QA inspections
  • Record testing information and send samples out as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized records of laboratory analysis
  • Perform daily calculations, compare lab results to expected values, and report variances to supervisor
  • Report any quality, processing problems, and out-of-spec conditions to the QA supervisor
  • Prepare spreadsheets analyzing data and alert supervisor of trends in data
  • Scan, file, and keep records of all batch sheets and raw materials COAs
  • Fill in for non-specialized tasks when shipping and QA/QC personnel are unavailable
  • Model our core value of safety by enabling a culture in which you are actively contributing to a safe work environment
  • Other duties as required
What You'll Bring:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • 2 + years of office experience, customer service, domestic logistics, and/or scale operations preferred
  • Working knowledge and skills in the following are required: computer typing, Microsoft software, such as Excel, Word and Outlook, including word processing, email etiquette, database entry, spreadsheet and internet use
  • Ability to use dispatching equipment, such as telephone (and accompanying headset) and PA systems
  • Willingness to learn
