Description

Under the direction of the English Language Development Program, the Testing Consultant is responsible for the screening and reporting of language assessment test scores for students determined to be eligible for English Language Development services.

Essential Position Responsibilities

  • Administers the Screener language assessment to newly enrolling HCPSS students determined to be eligible for English Language Development services
  • Collaborates with MFRC and HCPSS staff to communicate testing results to students and parents/guardians
  • Communicates testing data and qualification status to teachers and schools for newly enrolling students
  • Maintains testing records according to procedures developed in coordination with the ELD Program
  • Supports annual ACCESS assessment administration at schools, as needed

Minimum Qualifications

  • Completion of required WIDA Assessment Training courses and certifications

Preferred Qualifications

  • One (1) or more years of experience with teaching and/or assessing multilingual learners at the elementary, middle, and/or high school levels

Proposed Pay Rate - $35.00 per hour
