Seeking a Chief Medical Officer (CMO) in Spokane, WA to provide strategic clinical leadership, oversee provider supervision and quality initiatives, mentor medical staff, and deliver direct patient care within a mission-driven community health organization serving underserved populations.

The CMO would have 60% (24 HRs) of their 40 HR work week dedicated to Clinical supervision, privileging, teaching, mentoring, policies, and procedures40% (16 HRs) of their 40 HR work week would be dedicated to direct patient care hours in clinic seeing patients. Provides direct patient care by interviewing, examining and treating of patients to meet their medical needs. Will also participate in precepting physician and/or nurse practitioner students, and other identified students as requested. Serves as a resource to mid-level providers in clinic. Will work in a triad with the Clinic Director and Behavioral Health Director.
Must-Have Qualifications

MD or DO degree

Board Certified in:

  • Family Medicine

  • Internal Medicine

  • Family Practice

  • Preventive Medicine (less common but relevant)

Active Washington medical license

  • Salary Range: DOE

  • Signing Bonus: $50k with 4 year commitment

  • Hours: Full-Time-4 days/week; Weekend & Federal Holidays OFF. On-Call during the weekends.

  • Benefits: 100% Medical, Dental, Vision paid; 75% of Spouses and dependents paid; $35 Gym reimbursement

  • Loan Pay-Back Site: National Health Service Corps (HRSA), WA State, Indian Health Service

  • Medical HPSA Score: 18 / Mental Health HPSA Score: 18
