Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $276.45 - $299.25

This facility is seeking an Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.  



Details and requirements for this opportunity: 


Schedule: Twelve-hour day shifts with night backup call, covering 1–2 weeks per month on an ongoing basis.


Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital setting with a 30-bed unit, supervising residents and five advanced practice providers.


Type of Cases and Required Procedures: Advanced heart failure, transplant, left ventricular assist device, and other high-acuity cardiology patients; admissions and rounding required.


Credentialing Timeframe: Approximately 90 days, with temporary privileges available in 30–45 days.


Electronic Medical Record: Epic.


Certifications Required: Board Certified, Advanced Cardiac Life Support required


Licensure Required: Active Louisiana license or Interstate Medical Licensure Compact eligibility required.
