Job description

Job Introduction
Is helping people discover new and exciting products your passion? Do you enjoy talking to people and spreading product knowledge? Do you have a passion for delivering an extraordinary customer service experience while working in a fast paced and friendly environment? If the thought of helping people make healthy choices in one of the fastest growing retailers, or discovering new products is up your alley, then we need YOU to join our winning team at Sprouts Farmers Market as our Sales Ambassador!
Overview of Responsibilities
  • Proactively engaging customers while sampling products
  • Preparing and serving food using an induction cooktop, toaster oven, blender, etc. with specific cooking directions provided
  • Cutting and sampling produce and grocery product
  • Achieving sales goals by sharing product with customers and encouraging them to try new products
  • Coordinating all event activities, including:
    • Event setup and takedown
    • Communicating upcoming events in department manager meetings
    • Managing sample supply and sample product inventory
    • Preparing event recaps via SharePoint
  • Maintaining program specific equipment
  • Adhering to strict food safety guidelines
  • Completing assigned online trainings to build your knowledge base

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • High energy with a passion for Sprouts product
  • Thrives on customer engagement
  • Ability to suggestively sell product
  • Willingness to learn and grow
  • Ability to follow cooking directions
  • Ability to stand at the Tasting Station for up to 8 hours
  • Experience with customer service, sales, marketing or event planning

Pay Range
