Position SummaryJ. Edward Staffing is seeking a qualified Human Resources Assistant for a non-clinical, contract assignment supporting the SSO Human Resources team in Hartford, CT. This role is to provide maternity leave coverage and is local candidates only. This position is not temp-to-hire.
This is a 100% on-site role in downtown Hartford and requires daily business/professional attire.
Key Responsibilities3+ years of professional experience in an office or corporate setting
Bachelor's degree required (In lieu of degree: 4 years of equivalent professional experience)
Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables required)
Proficient with Microsoft 365; Microsoft Teams experience a plus
Reliable transportation required
Free parking provided
Occasional local travel to New Colleague Orientation (twice monthly) and Hartford-area career events may be required
Local candidates only
Fully on-site position (no remote or hybrid)
