Job Title: Administrative Coordinator (Advocacy & Political Affairs)

Job Description

The Administrative Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the effective functioning of the Advocacy & Political Affairs department. This role involves managing information flow, organizing documents, and providing administrative support to the Director of the Campaigns & Elections department. The position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle financial management tasks and compliance reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely gathering of information and responses to centralized email boxes.
  • Provide document organizing support on SharePoint and other cloud-based systems.
  • Support meetings by scheduling and maintaining programmatic documentation.
  • Monitor centralized email boxes, maintain data, and prepare monthly compliance reports.
  • Provide administrative support to the Director of the Campaigns & Elections department.
  • Process stipends, grant payments, and invoices.
  • Track and process stipend payments, non-staff travel, and grant-related payments and documentation.

Essential Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SharePoint.
  • 2+ years of experience in an administrative role.
  • Strong administrative support and clerical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
  • Experience in a feedback-driven work environment.

Work Environment

This role offers a hybrid work environment with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote each week. The specific days are yet to be determined. The team consists of 7 people and operates Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Washington, DC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
