Job description

Adecco is hiring Temporary Retail Sales Associates for a high-energy, fast-paced retail event in Joliet, IL. This is a short-term assignment for Saturday, July 4th and Sunday, July 5th only. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with retail, sales, or customer service experience who enjoy working directly with customers and thrive in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers

  • Support retail sales by helping customers find products and complete purchases

  • Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, including cash and card transactions

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked sales floor

  • Deliver a positive and engaging customer experience during the event

Qualifications
  • Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience required

  • Experience using a POS system and handling cash transactions

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Customer-focused, friendly, and dependable attitude
