Job Summary
A full-service law firm in West Palm Beach, FL is seeking an experienced Real Estate Legal Assistant to support its Real Estate Practice on a direct hire basis. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented legal professional with experience supporting attorneys through real estate transactions, closings, document preparation, billing, and client communication.
The Real Estate Legal Assistant will join a professional, team-focused legal environment where accuracy, responsiveness, confidentiality, and strong client service are highly valued. This role offers exposure to sophisticated real estate matters, collaboration with experienced attorneys, and the stability of an established legal services organization with a strong local, national, and international client base.
This is an excellent opportunity for a legal assistant who enjoys working in a structured, high-performing practice group with supportive leadership, positive teamwork, and meaningful client-facing work.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft, review, edit, redline, and prepare real estate contracts, leases, closing documents, and related legal materials.
- Assist attorneys with real estate closings, including gathering documentation, organizing files, and tracking transaction requirements.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical case files to ensure documents are current, accurate, and easily accessible.
- Communicate with clients, outside parties, and internal team members under attorney direction to help facilitate transactions.
- Manage attorney calendars, meetings, administrative tasks, new business intake, and client service support.
- Handle monthly client billing, including paper and electronic billing, prebill review, timekeeper inquiries, and narrative edits.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 per year.
- Employment type: Direct hire.
- Location: West Palm Beach, FL.
- Work arrangement: Physical attendance in the office is required.
