Job description

LOCAL TRAVELERS (those who reside within 50 miles of facility) WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS NEED. To avoid delays in processing, please provide perm address at profile upload.
Under the supervision of the EKG/EEG/ECHO Supervisor and following established technical standards, this position provides ultrasound images of the heart and related structures of patients of all ages for physician interpretation. The Echocardiographer must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span, be capable of gathering and assessing information relative to the patient's age-specific needs, and provide the care needed to achieve the desired clinical outcomes. The Echocardiographer must be able to understand and modify the therapeutic approach in response to the patient's nonverbal reactions to therapy, psychosocial needs, physical limitations and any other age or illness specific issues.
Requested time off during the course of this assignment MUST be noted and verified at upload. RTO REQUESTS AFTER UPLOAD WILL NOT BE APPROVED.
NO MORE THAN 5 DAYS OF RTO WILL BE ACCEPTED (less is better).
Traveler must be willing to work Thanksgiving holiday, including Friday and weekend after and the Christmas Eve to New Year Day block (If Needed/Scheduled). RTO during this holiday will not be approved. Thanks!

  • ARDMC (RDCS) required
