Job description

Overview / Job Summary:

In this temporary position, you will assist in providing students with the skills and knowledge necessary for success in the automotive field. This role focuses on integrating hands-on learning experiences with real-world automotive practices, ensuring students are well-prepared to enter the workforce.

This job is only for internal applicants who are in the Automotive Program at WSU Tech. All other applicants will be disqualified.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will vary, but are not limited to:

  • Perform basic vehicle repairs and maintenance under supervision.
  • Assist with shop organization, cleanliness, and safety practices.
  • Communicate effectively with staff, faculty, and peers.
  • Utilize program-provided tools and equipment properly and safely.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Must be enrolled full-time in the Automotive Technology program and maintain good academic standing.
  • Ability to work one Saturday per month as scheduled.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
