Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team on a temporary basis. This role is responsible for managing full-cycle recruitment activities for corporate headquarters positions nationwide while supporting hiring initiatives across our Ports and Vehicle Processing Centers (VPCs).
The ideal candidate is a hands-on recruiting professional with strong sourcing capabilities, experience building talent pipelines, and the ability to manage multiple requisitions in a fast-paced environment. This role will partner closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to attract, assess, and onboard top talent while ensuring a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition & Recruitment
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts for corporate and headquarters positions across the organization.
  • Source, attract, and engage qualified candidates through LinkedIn, Indeed, job boards, networking events, referrals, and direct outreach.
  • Build and maintain diverse talent pipelines, including passive candidates, to support current and future hiring needs.
  • Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, phone interviews, and initial assessments.
  • Summarize interview findings and provide recommendations to hiring managers.
  • Manage job postings and recruitment advertising across multiple platforms.
  • Support hiring efforts for exempt and non-exempt positions from entry-level through mid-management roles.
  • Determine when external recruiting agencies or third-party resources may be beneficial and coordinate recruiting partnerships.

Candidate Experience & Onboarding
  • Manage candidate communications throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and facilitate hiring decisions.
  • Create offer letters, process candidate acceptances, coordinate background checks, and schedule drug screenings.
  • Prepare complete and accurate hiring packets and ensure timely approvals.
  • Partner with HR and hiring managers to support a seamless onboarding experience.
  • Respond to employee and candidate inquiries regarding hiring processes, onboarding, policies, and benefits.

Recruitment Operations & Reporting
  • Manage requisition flow and applicant tracking processes.
  • Track and analyze recruiting metrics including time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, sourcing effectiveness, and candidate quality.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements.
  • Verify recruiting documentation and submitted forms for accuracy and completeness.
  • Support recruiting process improvements and talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Represent GLOVIS America at career fairs, networking events, and community outreach activities.
  • Assist in developing partnerships with local colleges, universities, and trade schools.
  • Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2-3 years of corporate and/or agency recruiting experience
  • Experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
  • Strong sourcing experience using LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, GitHub, and other recruiting platforms
  • Experience recruiting for professional, corporate, and operational positions
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS)

Preferred
  • Experience recruiting within logistics, transportation, supply chain, or manufacturing industries
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruiting initiatives
  • Knowledge of employment laws and recruiting compliance requirements
