Job Title

Health Screening Specialist

Reports To

Campus Principal/Director of Nursing Services

Primary Purpose

To conduct state required health screenings for students.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: Vision, Hearing, Spinal, and Texas Risk Assessment for Type 2 Diabetes in Children Screener Certifications.

Other Duties as Assigned

Frisco ISD retains the right to adjust the responsibilities and assignments of all positions as needed to meet the needs of the District.

Working Conditions

Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Maintain emotional control under stress. Exposure to bacteria and communicable diseases. Frequent standing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling. May be required to lift and position students with physical disabilities; control behavior through physical restraint; and assist non-ambulatory students.
