Job description

Job Summary: The Licensed Property & Casualty Producing Sales Agent for Cedarbrook Insurance Group, a division of Cavco Industries, is responsible for completing online and phone quote requests, making outbound prospect calls, managing a lead funnel, and selling all available personal lines products, with policy sales in 37 states. This is a 100% remote position that also provides support and quotes for retail agents as needed. The role offers a starting annual salary of $40,000, with uncapped commissions paid out monthly, and on-target earnings ranging from $65,000 to $90,000+ annually.

Core Responsibilities/duties will include but are not limited to the following:
  • Gain working knowledge and understanding of various carriers’ programs and websites necessary to update and produce customer
  • Prepare and process quotes for potential customers, online quote requests, dealers, and lenders and provide support and quotes for Retail Sales agents, as
  • Assist with agent calls and WebQuoter questions, as
  • Complete outbound prospect calls and manage lead funnel required to sell all personal lines
  • Responsible for monthly quoting activity and minimum monthly sales
  • Able to maintain an effective sales funnel in CRM
  • Provide quotes to Spanish speaking callers using the language
  • Follow up with customers regarding signed applications, payments and additional documents needed for current and/or future policies as
  • Review appraisals, specification sheets for value and
  • Verify signed applications, confirm, and process payments as required to bind and issue
  • Prepare documents for mortgage closings and prepare escrowed premium billing to
  • Provide routing instructions to ensure all issued policies are delivered to the correct department and scan and tag documents into the document imaging system, as
  • Issue service contracts submitted by Independent Retail
  • Any additional duties as assigned by
Required job skills:
  • High school diploma or
  • Current Property & Casualty license
  • Minimum of (1) year of customer service experience in insurance, financial services and/or relevant direct customer
  • Minimum of (6) months insurance sales experience in the personal lines property and casualty insurance sector.
  • Excellent phone, Internet and communication skills and critical thinking ability and good math
  • Good organizational skills with ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced
