Rave! Catering is seeking individuals to Join our Pack as a Catering Driver. Rave! Catering proudly employs experienced, certified chefs and catering professionals to provide the highest degree of service possible to ensure successful events.
Essential job duties include:
  • Transport food, equipment and staff for Rave! Catering.
  • Pick up prepared foods and deliver to campus retail locations.
  • Transport campus supplies within Campus Enterprises departments.
  • Load and off-load cargo for delivery or pick up.
  • Assist in pulling inventory to be delivered.
  • Other duties as assigned to ensure NC State Dining business needs are met. Position may be asked to assist in other locations as necessary.

Dedicated and experienced professional staff are available to provide on-the-job training and assistance so you become a successful member of the catering team. We offer flexible schedules and the opportunity for learning, growth, and promotion. Superior work performance may provide an opportunity to renew employment and/or advance into a benefits eligible permanent position. This is an hourly position, that includes a State required 32-day break at the end of 11 months.
NC State Dining provides campus wide food services to students, staff, and faculty on the North Carolina State University Campus. NC State Dining operates 11 cafes, 3 food courts and 6 dining halls, 3 markets, 2 restaurants, vending, a nutritional counseling service, and a catering department. The department employs approximately 1000 temporary and student employees and approximately 190 permanent EPS and SHRA employees.
