Job description

Associate Management Consultant - Temp to Hire
LGI is seeking a highly motivated and qualified candidate for a short-term temporary role supporting the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency. Tasks will include collecting data and information, preparing slide decks, populating dashboards, tracking action items, and providing general project management and stakeholder engagement support for a variety of meetings and tasks. This role will run approximately from Mid-September to early December. There is a possibility for the role to turn into a long-term regular position depending on performance, client needs, and business needs.

Our company supports a variety of public safety, emergency communications and cybersecurity projects for Federal, State and local agencies, including the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Commerce.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Working closely with project teams to plan, coordinate and conduct activities related to project reporting, leadership meetings, and action item tracking
  • Coordinate weekly reports for leadership, update Dashboards, populate and track information for slide decks/excel reports
  • Capture and track notes and action items
  • Conduct research, write/update SOPs
  • Maintain client SharePoint sites, manage documentation
  • Prepare and distribute communications products such as presentations and meeting summaries.
  • Coordinate with client leads at a variety of levels to collect information and distill it into plain language.


Location: Hybrid - LGI HQ in Arlington, VA/ Telework

Compensation: $2,500-$3,000 per pay period, less applicable taxes and withholdings (equivalent to a regular annualized salary range of $60K-$72K)
Temporary Position Term: Sep 14 - Dec 11, with the potential of extension or full-time hire as a regular long-term employee, depending upon performance during term, client needs and business needs.
Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in management consulting, IT, project management or other relevant field.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent research, data gathering, analytical, critical thinking, and listening skills
  • Ability to think conceptually and strategically and learn quickly
  • Ability to meet deadlines and adhere to project plans
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to interact and network effectively with all levels of staff
Additional Desired Qualifications:
  • Existing DHS EOD/public trust
  • Experience in federal government consulting
  • Interest in cybersecurity
Some contracts may require the ability to obtain a security clearance.
