About the role

SchoolHouse Staffing is seeking a licensed School Social Worker for an immediate temporary placement through June 5th. This is a full-time, single-building assignment at either the Belmont or Downtown location, supporting a caseload of approximately 45 students across general education and consult-only populations.

Schedule & details

  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: June 5th (end of school year)
  • Hours: Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:10 PM
  • Location: Single building
  • Caseload: ~45 students, including consult-only

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct social work services to assigned students
  • Conduct student consultations and collaborate with school staff
  • Support student social-emotional development and well-being
  • Maintain accurate case documentation in compliance with district standards
  • Attend relevant team meetings and coordinate with the school administration

Qualifications

  • Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) required
  • PEL must include endorsement in School Social Work
  • Prior experience in a K12 school setting preferred
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to start immediately
