WHAT YOU'LL DO:
Write and adapt standards-aligned curriculum for grades K-5. You'll create engaging lesson plans, assessments, and student materials that foster language and literacy development.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and instructional designers
  • Revise materials based on client feedback
  • Support development of professional learning materials for teachers
  • Integrate innovative strategies and tools to enhance learner engagement

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
  • Bachelor's degree in English, education, or related field
  • Familiarity with AI tools and comfort learning new software platforms
  • Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) and English Language Proficiency Standards (ELPS)
  • Strong familiarity with the US K-12 education system preferred
  • Excellent writing skills required, educational writing experience preferred
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Commitment to educational equity
  • Comfort with project management tools and deadlines
  • Commitment to organizational mission and inclusion
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage, prioritize, and multitask
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and meet frequent deadlines

  • Experience (professional, internship, or volunteer) in teaching preferred
