Job description

Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking an Operations Support Specialist to support our fast-growing AgVend team. This is a junior role, in which you will support internal AgVenders, owning the investigation, triage, and resolution of Tier 2 production support issues across AgVend's Digital Enablement Platform. Any issues escalated by the Partner Enablement team is your domain. As Operations Support Specialist, you will become familiar with AgVend's operational workflows, Django admin tools, core data models, and production support processes. You will manage issues that come through Zendesk, investigate production data errors, identify root causes, apply safe operational fixes, and escalate to AgVend's Engineering team when deeper code or system changes are required. You will be part of the Digital Solutions team and work closely with Partner Enablement, Partnership Management, Engineering, and Data Specialists. Your work will span partner configuration issues, product and store data mismatches, platform setup problems, minor SQL-backed investigations, and troubleshooting logic in the codebase. This role is ideal for someone early in their technical career who is detail-oriented, curious, comfortable digging into messy problems, and eager to build technical fluency while improving the quality and reliability of partner support operations. Please note, this position is a remote work arrangement.

Required Skills
  • Proficient with Google Suite of tools
  • Basic Python proficiency and ability to read/debug existing code
  • Understanding of relational databases and basic SQL queries
  • Strong analytical reasoning and structured problem-solving skills
  • Ability to explain technical findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
  • Strong written communication skills and comfort working in a remote, cross-functional team
  • High attention to detail and ability to organize information effectively
  • Comfort using admin tools, internal dashboards, ticketing systems, and operational workflows
Nice to Have Skills
  • Familiarity with web applications, APIs, ecommerce platforms, or SaaS products
  • Experience with Zendesk or similar ticketing systems
  • Experience with Django admin or similar operational tooling is an asset
