Job Summary:
Are you an experienced plumbing professional with strong leadership skills? CT Mechanical is seeking a talented Plumbing Foreman to join our team. In this role, you will oversee and manage entire plumbing projects, ensuring that all work meets high standards of quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess extensive technical knowledge, proven leadership experience, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of plumbing projects from start to finish.
- Lead a team of plumbers and apprentices, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Plan and schedule work, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
- Locate leaks, tears, blockages, corrosion, and weather damage in water and plumbing features.
- Inform clients of all estimated costs before commencing work.
- Fix issues in water and plumbing systems by repairing or replacing structures or aspects thereof.
- Install pipes and appropriate fixtures to ensure adequate drainage.
- Ensure structures are in excellent working condition upon completion of each project.
- Consult with clients to identify and address any concerns related to their water and plumbing systems.
- Advise clients on appropriate care for their systems.
- Observe pertinent health and safety regulations.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.
Role Requirements:
- 7-10 years of experience in plumbing, with a focus on commercial projects.
- OSHA 30
- Journeyman's license or equivalent experience.
- Proven leadership and project management skills.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to operate independently and manage a team effectively.
- Exceptional physical fitness and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Willingness to be available beyond normal working hours.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
