CDL A Driver - $28.27 Per Hour - $6.16 Health And Welfare 
TransForce is seeking a CDL A driver to support local operations based in Indianapolis, IN. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team. 


CDL A Driver Details 

  • Schedule: Start times vary, working 5-6 days per week, 8-10 hours per day, 49.8 average weekly hours

  • Pay:  $28.27 Per hour + $6.16 Health & Welfare up to 40 hours

  • Route Type: Local running North of Indianapolis and to Cincinnati

  • Freight / Load Type: Hauling mail

  • Equipment: Automatic & Manual, 48' - 53' trailers with liftgate

  • Handling: Light touch, driver will roll mail carts 


CDL A Driver Minimum Requirements:  

  • License: CDL A

  • Experience: 9+ months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience 

  • Endorsements: None

  • Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years) 

  • Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements 


CDL A Driver Responsibilities:  

  • Safely operate CDL A equipment on local routes 

  • Transport CDL A equipment in accordance with DOT and company safety standards 

  • Perform required handling tasks 

  • Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections 

  • Maintain accurate logs and paperwork 

  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations 

  • Meet the physical demands of the role
