Job description

We have an outstanding Contract position for an Electrical Technician to join a leading Company located in the Beale AFB, CA.

Hourly Pay Rate: $40 - $48

**US Citizenship is required.**
**Candidate must possess an Active Secret Security Clearance.**

Responsibilities:
  • Must know how to terminate routes and build connectors/cannon plugs. 
  • Repairs, constructs, installs, troubleshoots, and maintains routine electrical systems and equipment. 
  • Cuts, threads, bends, couples, and straps conduit. 
  • Cuts wire and conduit to length. 
  • Installs, repairs, or replaces switch boxes, lights, plugs, sockets, light fuses, and extension cords. 
  • Disassembles motors, generators, and other equipment in preparation for repair. 
  • Troubleshoots electrical malfunctions, inspects circuits and wiring of shielding and grounding, and tests electrical equipment for safety and efficiency. 
  • Uses blueprints, drawings, layout, or other specifications, and electrical hand tools and voltage-or-amperage measuring and recording devices.

Basic Hiring Criteria:
  • Previous Military, USAF 7 Level or Equivalent (Journeymen).
  • Minimum 2-4 years of MOD experience.
  • Fighter experience is a plus.
  • Must have an active Secret clearance / Must be a U.S. Citizen
