Engine / Transmission Disassembly Technician (Temp-to-Hire)

Dallas, TX 75207 $16.00/hour (starting pay) Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and mechanically inclined individuals for an Engine / Transmission Disassembly Technician position. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity with a growing automotive parts company specializing in dismantling engines and transmissions.

Ideal candidates will have a basic understanding of automotive systems and be comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-based environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Disassemble engines and transmissions safely and efficiently.
  • Use air tools and other equipment to take apart automotive components.
  • Identify and work with different socket sizes and tools.
  • Follow production goals and maintain consistent output.
  • Maintain clean and organized work areas.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.

Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge or general understanding of engines and/or transmissions.
  • Experience using air tools and power tools (impact guns, etc.).
  • Ability to recognize different socket sizes and tools.
  • Comfortable working in a production-based environment.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks.
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Training:
  • Employees will receive off-site training for a few weeks to ensure understanding of processes and expectations.

Pay & Schedule:
  • Starting Pay: $16.00/hour.
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM.
  • Position Type: Temp-to-Hire.
