Job description

Adecco is partnering with a local manufacturing client in Sheboygan, WI to find an experienced and reliable Lead Die Cutter Operator.

This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity, and is not a temporary, seasonal, or temp-to-hire role.
 

2nd Shift: Mon-Fri 2pm-10pm

Pay: $27.75-$28.75/hr (based on experience)
*PLUS shift differential

Job Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate die cutting presses, ensuring jobs are produced safely, efficiently, and to specification.
  • Review job tickets, install dies, run test sheets, and inspect alignment, cuts, and creases for quality and accuracy.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and production issues, communicate discrepancies, and work closely with the Printing and Pre-Make-Ready teams.
  • Lead and mentor a team of three feeder operators/helpers, assign tasks, and support a positive, productive work environment.
  • Complete production paperwork and quality checks while maintaining safe, efficient workflow throughout the department.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Die Cutter Pressman, preferably with lead or supervisory experience
  • Strong knowledge of die cutting processes and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret job tickets and production instructions
  • Solid math skills (fractions, decimals, measurements)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication and leadership skills
  • Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability

Pay Details: $27.85 to $29.85 per hour
