This is a temporary, non-benefit eligible position for Summer 2026, working approximately 32 hours per week

Works Monday - Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.ย
SUMMARY
Supports the Common Grounds coffee shop and/or supervisor.
Position Duties:
Under minimum supervision:
- Greets and welcomes Common Grounds customers and offers assistance
- Takes and prepares beverage orders
- Performs cashier functions
- Cleans espresso machine and restocks supplies
- Cleans and maintains general cleanliness for coffee station work area and common area
- May perform other like duties
Minimum Qualifications:ย
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
- Ability to work with a minimal level of supervision as well as in a team environment, and
- Ability to follow directions and procedures, and
- Ability to consistently provide quality customer service to students, faculty, staff and the public, and
- Ability to problem-solve, follow directions, and be self-motivated, and
- Possess a cooperative spirit in working with peers, supervisors, students and the public
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous cashiering experience
- Previous Barista experience
