Job description

Civeo Crown Services Employees LP is currently looking to fill a position for a Front Office Administrator at our Athabasca Lodge. The Front Office Administrator works as a member of the Front Desk Team to achieve overall performance goals identify opportunities and maintain an efficient, effective work environment. Reporting to the designated Supervisor, the successful candidate will work 21 days on and 7 days off rotation, which may include days, nights, weekend shifts, and statutory holidays.

Please Note: This is a temporary position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process registrations, departures, and respond to guest inquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Demonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the best possible experience for our guests, managers, and staff members
  • Communicate to the management team any guest concerns or challenge
  • Operate in accordance to established policies, procedures, and quality standard
  • Maintain an organized and clean work area 
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years' hotel experience working in a front desk capacity.

  • Ability to meet deadlines (email, telephone inquiries, and guest inquiries).

  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office programs and Hotel reservation systems such as Innfinity.

  • Must be willing to work shift work, 24hr desk.

  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Possess a positive, friendly and professional attitude.

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.

  • Current, valid First Aid certification is an asset.

  •  Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

  • Must be able to move, lift, carry, pull, push, and place objects away weighing up to 50 bs.

  • Must be able to pass a pre-access Drug & Alcohol test

Working Conditions

  • Ability to work in rotational shifts in a remote environment
  • Manual dexterity required to use desktop computer and peripherals
  • Overtime as required
