Work Environment

This full-time position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home. You will utilize a state-of-the-art online therapy platform that serves as your digital private practice, providing capabilities for live video sessions, messaging, and secure client interactions. Our outpatient model focuses on providing therapy to clients in an accessible, convenient manner, with all operational logistics managed by our team to allow you to focus solely on client care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions with individuals via video chat, fostering a safe space for emotional expression.
• Guide clients in exploring their thoughts and feelings, and encourage open dialogue about past experiences.
• Assist clients in setting and achieving their therapeutic goals, using evidence-based practices tailored to their individual needs.
• Identify behavioral patterns that may hinder recovery, providing strategic interventions to promote positive change.
• Advise clients on healthy coping mechanisms and life skills to manage stress and enhance their overall well-being.
• Continuously monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our client demographic primarily includes stable adults seeking emotional and psychological support, particularly those who prefer the convenience of virtual counseling. All clients undergo a thorough screening process to ensure low acuity, helping to create a focused and effective therapeutic environment.

Qualifications

• Education: Applicants must hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Licensing: Candidates must possess a valid, unrestricted LPC license to practice independently; provisional licenses or those with any disciplinary actions will not be accepted.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong empathetic approach are essential for effective client interactions.
• Proficiency in digital tools and platforms required for teletherapy sessions. Familiarity with therapy management software is a plus.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in a counseling role focused on adult patients and treatment plans related to anxiety, depression, or relationship issues.
• Experience with telehealth services or online counseling platforms preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an ability to quickly build rapport with clients.

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, commensurate with hours worked and experience. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, weekly direct deposit, and for full-time counselors, a monthly healthcare stipend to support your well-being and work-life balance.
