Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to gain a thorough understanding of clients’ presenting issues, personal history, and goals for therapy, employing structured interviews, psychometric assessments, and clinical observations.
• Deliver individualized, couple, and family therapy using a variety of evidence-based techniques, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and narrative therapy to foster healing and growth.
• Develop, implement, and continuously modify personalized treatment plans that align with each client's specific needs and measure treatment outcomes through regular reviews.
• Maintain ethical standards and confidentiality throughout all practices and adhere to state and federal regulations regarding client care and documentation.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops, webinars, and training to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse range of clientele who seek support through various life challenges, including anxiety disorders, depression, relationship issues, and family dynamics. Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in clinical social work practices.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in New York State.
• At least two years of experience working in a clinical setting, preferably within private practice, where you have demonstrated competence in mental health assessment, treatment planning, and therapeutic interventions.
• Exceptional communication skills, possessing the ability to empathize and connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Highly organized, capable of managing a caseload effectively while ensuring that all interactions are documented per regulatory standards.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to teletherapy modalities can be advantageous, particularly familiarity with virtual therapy platforms that enhance client engagement.
• Experience working with specific populations, such as children, adolescents, or families undergoing transition, is desired but not mandatory.
