3-day Flex WFH Shifts:Must be willing and able to work the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift Rotation Schedule (includes weekends and holidays)


A friendly and reliable Telephone Operator is needed to work a rotating switchboard schedule at the Palmerton Telephone Company.


Primary responsibilities include:

  • Answering phones and properly routing calls
  • Monitoring Alarms and Medical Alerts
  • Providing answering Services for Doctors offices and others
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications:

  • H.S. Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Established residency in Pennsylvania
  • Computer Proficiency
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs preferred Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with the local area helpful
  • Excellent Communications Skills - Pleasant Speaking Voice
  • Neat penmanship
  • Dependability / Reliability
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to be detail oriented
  • Ability to work in a team environment
