At Franciscan, the Manager Virtual Health leads the telehealth program strategy, including successful development, integration, and implementation of all new virtual telehealth programs, on-going support, maintenance, and optimization of programs. This individual develops, implements, enforces, and communicates operating protocols and standards, ensuring an effective, scalable telehealth program, and works collaboratively with physicians, nursing, and vendors to develop a high-quality, safe program that focuses on patient-centered care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
  • Contribute to quality nursing practice; utilizes appropriate resources to assure that nursing practice is safe, effective, efficient, equitable, timely, patient-centered, and fiscally responsible.
  • Create an environment that ensures effective patient-centered timely and respectful communication among patients' families and significant others and the healthcare team to promote safety quality outcomes and a healthy work environment.
  • Collaborate with healthcare consumers, colleagues, community leaders, and other stakeholders to advance nursing practice and healthcare transformation.
  • Lead with professional practice setting profession, healthcare industry and society establishing an environment that supports and maintains respect dignity and trust.
  • Develop and manage multiple departmental budgets, including making budget allocations, approving expenditures, and ensuring expenses are within budget.
  • Pull data from software system to calculate monthly program analytics and submit to management.
  • Practice nursing, according to Franciscan Alliance and nursing division's philosophies and standards of care set by state board of nursing, state nurse practice act, and other governing agency regulations.
  • Evaluate one's own nursing practice in relation to professional practice standards and guidelines, relevant statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with patients and their families, as well as members of a multidisciplinary team, to ensure optimal patient outcomes and enhancement of the patient experience.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Associate's Degree Nursing, Healthcare, Business or Related - Required
  • Bachelor's Degree Nursing, Healthcare, Business or Related - Preferred
  • 2 years Progressive Leadership - Preferred -OR-
  • Completion of a fellowship program - Preferred
  • 2 years Technology or Informatics - Preferred
  • 2 years Acute Care Experience - Preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensing Board - Required
