Job Summary
The Machine Technician is responsible for producing high-quality products through accuracy, timeliness and efficiency of all manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate thrives in environments where safety, quality, service and cost are the highest priorities. The Machine Technician will perform various, rotating duties relating to all manufacturing operations. He or she will support managers and all plant staff to meet operational goals and perform duties as assigned. Employees will contribute to a highly motivated and positive environment. The Machine Technician must be familiar with all areas of the process, along with any off-line equipment associated with the production line. It is the responsibility of all Technicians to operate in a safe manner, and monitor the quality of the product we produce
This role will be in our commercial facility, making TPO products, working a rotating schedule. This role rotates through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift!
Essential Duties
  • Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Assure all activities are performed safely
  • Produce high-quality products consistently
  • Generate timely, consistent reports
  • Communicate positively with co-workers and leaders

Qualifications Required
  • H.S. Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) Required
  • 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or safety-sensitive role.

  • Ability to respond to requests in a professional and timely manner
  • Demonstrated intermediate communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong planning, prioritization, organizational, and reporting skills
  • Independent problem-solving skills

Technical Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Ability to troubleshoot and solve production challenges
  • Intermediate proficiency in Google Suite
  • Familiar with standard manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures
  • Mathematical Skills - Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to read and interpret measurements
