Match Sales Account Manager - Multi-Channel positions (S691-S695) ONLY if the incumbent sells in multiple channels and one channel cannot be identified as predominant. The most highly populated individual contributor level (up to 75-80% of the individual contributor sales population) might be matched to the career level. The primary manufacturing facilities are in the United States, Mexico, Taiwan and France. We are a vertically oriented manufacturing and design company with major operations in Southern California.
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager for the Western USA territory. Ideally, the individual would be located on the West Coast and work out of one of Teledyne's locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Create and achieve a sales budget, including bookings, billings and POS
  • Manage a group of manufacturer's representatives and regional distribution networks; participate in quarterly reviews.
  • Create an OEM business development target customer list.
  • Directs field applications team to achieve design wins...
  • Regularly meet with current and potential customers
  • Submit monthly Sales Activity Reports to management.
  • Update designs wins within a sales funnel using CRM tools.
  • Participate in new product definition and report market trends.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business or a related field
  • Minimum 5-10 years previous experience in technical field working with manufacturer's reps and distribution channels in Aerospace & Defense markets.
  • Experience with electronic components required (manufacturing)
  • Preparation of quarterly presentations; covering short/long-term goals and performance in region
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Travel required = 50%
