Summary
  • Maintains production machinery and mechanical equipment. Repairs equipment such as pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, part pick and place, pumps, compressors, and other electro-mechanical production machines. Performs work as an advanced maintenance technician. Provides guidance and leadership to other team members to perform routine and specialized maintenance and repairs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance.
  • Observes, operates and listens to mechanical equipment in operation to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to remove and replace defective parts. Examines shape, form, and wear of parts to detect imperfections and problems.
  • Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements and adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments using hand tools, levels and straight edges.
  • Repairs and replaces defective parts by removing and installing equipment components. Lubricates and cleans parts, start devices to test for performance.
  • A plus - able to set up and operate basic tool room equipment. Lathe, drill press, grinder, and other metalworking tools to repair or adjust parts.
  • A plus - Able to organize, plan and prioritize work for others.
  • Initiates purchase order for parts and machines. Identifies events and records differences for physical maintenance scheduling.
  • Drafts layouts and specifies technical devices, parts and equipment. Provides instructions, makes sketches and defines requirements.
  • Makes decisions and solves problems from analyzing information and evaluating results.

Education and/or Experience
  • Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance (preferred not required)
  • 5+ experience in equipment maintenance; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • MS Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Valid driver's license.

Salary Range:
$50,600.00-$67,500.000
The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
