Job description

GC&E Federal is seeking a Video Teleconference (VTC) Operator to support the 16th Air Force HQ in Lackland AFB, TX. Provide VTC set-up, configuring, testing, maintaining, monitoring, and troubleshooting video teleconferencing equipment, multimedia devices, televisions, monitors, projectors, recording equipment, speaker sets, and other presentation equipment during live conferencing.
Essential Job Functions
  • Full-time VTC room support for a General Officer (GO) and other VTCs under the direction of the VTC office lead scheduler
  • Scheduled by the central scheduling database, open, and set up rooms prior to customers showing up to occupy a VTC room as requested by the HOST
  • Keep all network account accesses current with the ability to support customers in any of the HQ's facilities on any of the HQ's IT equipment and networks
  • Perform HOSTED VTC duties to include AV comm checks with all distant ends and confirm the status of attendees prior to GO sitting down
  • Perform VTC duties to include making sure the VTC network connection is active at set up a time with all participants and work with service providers such as DIA and DISA in a timely manner if no connection is made
  • Perform facility upkeep duties including opening all rooms at the beginning of each day and closing all rooms at end of day
  • These duties include cleanliness of the facility and removal of all user's personal and professional belongings, including any classified documentation which will be returned to the last known user or destroyed properly
  • Provide a weekly activity report of all VTC conferences scheduled and facilitated the week prior to the report.

Requirements
  • Top Secret Clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI)
  • 2-3 years of experience in AV/VTC Operation
  • Ability to clearly communicate issues and challenges
  • Proficient in Audio Visual Operation
  • Proficient in AMX
