Job Description
Manages and directs one or more IT project teams to meet project objective implementing IT Infrastructure solutions specializing in telecommunications . Depending on the level of position this projects may be small or mid-size and generally low to medium in impact, cost and complexity, or may include key strategic IT Project.
This position is a direct report to the Mgr. Infrastructure Delivery and IT Eng.


Qualifications
Required Skills, Competencies, Education or Experience:
         Strong Knowledge of mobile market including key players, emerging technologies, and new business models (including platforms, MDM solutions, network architecture and other mobile technology)
         Knowledge of the design, implementation and support for the mobile device management solutions .
         Extensive knowledge of consumer and enterprise mobile architectures, trends, emerging technologies and platforms, including Android and IOS Operating systems.
         Ability to develop new approaches /solutions to complex design problems while meeting aggressive deadlines with consistent attention to detail.
         Work very closely with peers and leadership to negotiate and influence direction for our mobile solutions.
         Lead the development of mobility solutions architecture (both tactical and strategic) to fully manage/support the business needs.
         Where necessary, is involved with in-depth assessments to validate that the technology and architecture is appropriate for the business solution.
         Translate business domain roadmap into a technology used in the domain to address application integration and infrastructure framework related questions.
         Work with vendors to understand emerging technologies.
         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or related field and at least 4, typically 6 or more years of related work experience in IT, without a degree at least 8years of related work experience in IT.
         Demonstrated leadership capabilities through projects or other work planning experience.
         Demonstrated experience managing outsourced vendors ( on and offshore) within the information technology field.
         Good to strong facilitation skills.
         Strong judgement and management skills.
         Strong analytical ability,
         Good to excellent leadership, technical teamwork and interpersonal skills.
         Ability to foster working relationship with the team, IT management and client departments.
         Ability to explain technical concepts to the business users in the context of business requirements.
         Knowledgeable of techniques to effectively elicit requirements from end-users, individually or as a group (e.g.: prototyping)
         Ability to define performance scalability attributes constraints and other non-functional requirements.
         A strong methodical approach to troubleshooting technology issues.
         Ability to make recommendations and engineer projects from conception to successful implementation.
         Proven ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a cross functional, mixed matrix environment.
         Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and team building skills.
         Excellent business judgement.
         Strong change management experience, requirements and process knowledge.
         Familiarity  with managing software projects.
